Kevin Chappell parred the last to secure the individual title and give UCLA the 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Championship.
Chappell shot a final-round, four-over 76, but won the individual title at two-under 286.
UCLA took the title at 42-over-par 1194 at Kampen Course.
Stanford, last year's winner, took second at plus-43, while Southern California came in third at 44-over 1196.
Oklahoma State finished fourth at plus-48, while Clemson came in fifth at 49- over-par 1201.
Kent State took sixth at plus-52, four shots better than Washington.
Each team has five players competing and the four best scores from the day count to toward the team competition.
Chappell, Phillip Francis and Craig Leslie all shot 76s for UCLA. Erik Flores managed a 78 for the final number, while Lucas Lee shot an 80, which did not count.
Washington's Nick Taylor shot a three-over 75 to tie for second Jorge Campillo of Indiana. That pair came in at one-over 289.
Rickie Fowler of Oklahoma State shared fourth place with Sihwan Kim of Stanford. They finished four rounds at six-over 294.
