In 2007, Gage's fifth NFL season and first with the Titans, he led the team with 750 receiving yards and tied Roydell Williams for most receptions with 55.
In 65 games, Gage has 119 receptions for 1,658 yards and six touchdowns. He formerly played for Chicago.
Free agent tight end Alge Crumpler visited with Titans officials. Crumpler and his agent also met with team officials last weekend at the NFL Scouting Combine. Crumpler, cut by Atlanta on Feb. 15, made the Pro Bowl in 2006. He was plagued by knee problems last season.

BALTIMORE: The Ravens released running back Mike Anderson, freeing up $1.8 million in cap space.
BUFFALO: Running back Anthony Thomas, linebacker Coy Wire and cornerback Jerametrius Butler were released.
The Bills also waived offensive guard Aaron Merz, a 2006 second-round draft pick, who missed the season because of a shoulder injury.
CLEVELAND: Defensive lineman Orpheus Roye was released. The 12-year veteran battled knee injuries the past two seasons.
DETROIT: The Lions signed free agent safety Dwight Smith to a two-year contract. He spent the past two seasons with Minnesota.
INDIANAPOLIS: Linebacker Rob Morris and defensive tackle Anthony McFarland were released.
Morris, a first-round pick by the Colts in 2000 out of Brigham Young, hurt his left knee against Denver in Week 4.
McFarland, obtained in a trade from Tampa Bay in 2006, tore a knee tendon in training camp last summer and missed the season.
NEW ORLEANS: Guard Jamar Nesbit, a former Carolina Panther, agreed to a three-year contract.
SAN FRANCISCO: Nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga agreed to a five-year deal.
TAMPA BAY: The Bucs released veteran defensive ends Kevin Carter and Greg Spires. Carter, 34, had 73 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and fumble recovery in his first season with the Bucs. Spires appeared in 10 games last season, including eight starts. He had 26 tackles and two sacks.
