Cassie, a.k.a. "PiCassieO," is a nine-year-old "artistic airedale" owned by professional artist Beth Stafford of Concord. Cassie "paints" the windows of Stafford's home by licking and "nosing" them. Then Stafford photographs the marks and runs the images through Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 to create abstract expressionist pieces. Here, Cassie is pictured in front of one of her canvases, the east-facing window, where she "gets inspired" by the deer and rabbits that occasionally pass through, Stafford said.
