Traffic zooms by on Independence Boulevard in front of Hillbilly Produce, traffic which increasingly threatens this landmark business. Hillbilly Produce has been here for decades, since Marshall Surface built the cinderblock building in 1984. There is something special about this roadside stand that sells everything from locally produced honey to pine straw and has survived all the development around it.
