Armed robbers hit a pair of fast food restaurants Monday evening in Charlotte.
The first robbery was reported shortly after 8 p.m., at a Subway sandwich shop in the 3200 block of Freedom Drive in west Charlotte. A lone gunman entered the store and ran off after the robbery.
The second case happened shortly after 9 p.m., at a Wendy's in the 5800 block of North Sharon Amity Road. Two men entered the store, each armed with a handgun. After robbing the store, the two men ran to a waiting vehicle, apparently driven by a third suspect, and fled.
No injuries were reported in the robberies.
